Dr Seow Shih Wee

Dr Seow Shih Wee is Senior Director of Corporate Services at PRECISE, the central programme management office coordinating and implementing Phase II and Phase III of Singapore’s National Precision Medicine Programme (NPM).

As Director, Corporate Services, Dr Seow is responsible for coordinating daily operations across various departments in PRECISE, and monitoring ongoing research activities and progress. Dr Seow also oversees PRECISE public communications, staff hiring, budget management matters, and liaises with various government agencies to support PRECISE operations.

Prior to becoming Director of Corporate Services, Dr Seow was at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) where she was Head (PharmBio) at the Biomedical Research Council, and later on, as Deputy Director, led the Business Development team at the Research Support Centre. As Head (PharmBio), Dr Seow managed and evaluated special research programmes and projects, and she was instrumental in setting up NPM Phase I.

Dr Seow is a microbiologist by training, she obtained her Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and was a recipient of the NUS Graduate Student Fellowship.
