Abstract:

The National Healthcare Group (NHG) is proud to present the 19th Edition of the Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC). SHBC 2021 will bring extraordinary digital opportunities in a reimagined virtual experience and is slated to be the largest virtual medical congress in Singapore with an expected 2,000 delegates streaming in live!

Since 2002, SHBC has established itself to become a must-attend vital platform for healthcare delegates to learn, share and equip themselves with extended knowledge. A record 3,500 delegates from Asia Pacific and other regions converged at SHBC 2019. SHBC Scientific Competition remains the most prestigious and recognised local competition among abstract submitters, attracting about 600 submissions locally and around the region.

Innovation in the healthcare industry is rapidly accelerating and the Covid-19 pandemic has further exposed the need for resilience in our healthcare systems. As we move towards the “Brave New World of Healthcare”, SHBC 2021 aims to focus on current healthcare problems and deliberate over potential solutions for a sustainable health ecosystem and a future-ready healthcare workforce.

Session Highlight:

Head over to the panel discussion on Stratifying Patients for Better Outcomes to gain valuable insights from PRECISE’s Management team – Prof Patrick Tan, Executive Director and Prof John Chambers, Chief Scientific Officer – who participated as guest panellists with fellow learned specialists from Singapore’s healthcare clusters.
